The mouse igg1 antibody, clone x40, is derived from the hybridization of sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells isolated from balb/c mice immunized with klh. The mouse igg1 antibody is specific for keyhole limpet hemocyanin (klh), an antigen not expressed on human peripheral blood platelets.
