These bright red, easy to open, polypropylene (pp) biohazard bags are for disposal of biohazard waste and plastic laboratory items such as used tips and tubes. Bags have a clearly printed biohazard symbol and pass astm 1922 tear resistance and astm 1709 dart impact tests. Unu40104 and unu40120 are made from hm-hdpe and can only withstand autoclaving up to 121â°c. Steam autoclavable for sterilization of waste before disposal.
