Grade 703 blotting papers are ideal for use as wicks in protein and nucleic acid blotting, providing a uniform flow of buffer through the gel to the transfer membrane in a blotting sandwich. They are also suitable for removing gels from glass supports. These papers are made of 100% cotton fiber, ensuring a uniform and smooth texture. They are produced using ultrapure water and contain no additives. Available cut to size, these papers prevent the development of air pockets between the gel and transfer membrane.
