This kit allows to identify reaction condition that produces glucuronide adduct of a drug compound. The reaction conditions are derivative of the Koenigs–Knorr reaction. This is a 2 step process:1) Coupling with glucuronidation reagent 2) De-protection with NaOH/MeOH solutionThis kit is using 4 different salts with 2 different solvents, 8 reaction conditions as well as 2 reaction conditions using BF3.The first step is performed at room temperature for 3 hours except for BF3 conditions which are performed at 0°C. However, the reactivity of the substrate may vary. Therefore, different reaction temperatures or reaction time may be explored. We encourage the user to analyze the reaction mixture after the first step, in order to identify the reaction conditions that form the most protected glucuronide product. The second step consists of de-protecting the intermediate using NaOH/MeOH solution and LiOH/MeOH. The optimum quantity needed for the protection may vary due to the functional present on the substrate as well as the stability of the final product.List of kits:Glucuronidation starter kit Kit for glucuronidation with 10 reaction conditions.
