This burette is designed for laboratory use and is made of high-quality class "A" borosilicate glass with blue graduations. It features a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plastic plunger stopcock, which offers excellent resistance to chemicals, moisture, and high temperatures. PTFE plastic is a strong, low-friction material that ensures smooth transfer, high surface release, and nonstick properties. Additionally, it exhibits high chemical resistance and can withstand moisture, high temperatures, flames, thermal expansion, and ultraviolet (UV) exposure, as well as demonstrating low-temperature toughness. The burette has a capacity of 100 mL with 0.20 mL graduations, making it suitable for high school or college students. It meets the accuracy standards outlined in DIN ISO 385 and ASTM-E287. Eisco Labs' borosilicate glass is also heat tolerant, with the following specifications: strain point at 515°C, annealing point at 565°C, and softening point at 820°C.
