Details
Integrin-Linked Kinase (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-75638, from Invitrogen.Integrin-linked kinase (ILK1) is a serine/threonine protein kinase, containing 4 ankyrin-like repeats. ILK1 interacts with the cytoplasmic domains of integrin ß1 and ß3 subunits as well as several adaptors and signalling proteins and acts as a proximal receptor kinase regulating integrin-mediated signal transduction. ILK1 has been reported to regulate a number of biological properties including anchorage-independent cell cycle progression, tumour cell invasion and apoptosis. Over-expression of ILK1 has been documented in a wide variety of human malignancies. RANDOX recombinant ILK1 comprises a 452 amino acid fragment (1-452) corresponding to the mature ILK1 full-length protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. RP-75638 contains purified recombinant human Integrin-Linked Kinase protein with an N-terminal hexahistidine tag. RP-75638 may be used as a positive control in many immunological assays. This protein has a molecular weight of ∽55.92 kDa.
