This is a 37 mm hydrophobic ptfe membrane filter with a 5.0 µM pore size (5 micron filter). Mitex is an unsupported hydrophobic ptfe membrane. The 5 micron filter can be used under extreme chemical or temperature conditions that other membranes cannot withstand (up to 260 °c).
