Provide broad-spectrum protection against proteolytic degradation in cell lysis procedures with Thermo Scientific™ Protease Inhibitor Cocktails.Both ready-to-use formulations inhibit most serine, cysteine, and calpain proteases that cause general degradation of proteins in cell extracts. Metalloproteases are inhibited as well. The EDTA-free formulation is ideal for preparing samples that will be analyzed by 2D gel electrophoresis. The refrigerator-stable, 100X liquid solutions are easy to use: simply add the appropriate volume of cocktail to the sample (10μL per 1mL of cell extract) and continue with your procedure.
