These immersion tubes have a 30 mm diameter medium porosity (10 μm to 15 μm) fritted disc and are particularly useful for drawing off the supernatant liquid from a precipitate. They are made from Code 7740 borosilicate glass. Any precipitate which might be disturbed will be held on the filter.
