Core sampler for measuring and viewing settled sludge and solids. CORETAKER has durable 1.25 in. OD clear polycarbonate tubes with black ABS machined Slip Lock Coupler and automatic check valve. No threaded fittings that break. Fittings are CNC machined for precision fit. Internal O-Rings prevent leaks. Thanks to a foam lanyard the entire unit will float if dropped in a tank. Comes in 8 ft. sections to minimize the number of couplers. Commonly used in wastewater treatment plants to monitor activated sludge blanket levels.
