To meet the challenge of fall arrest standards in the association for challenge course technology (acct), project adventure replaced traditional lobster claws with our ansi/osha compliant energy-absorbing device. Acct standards specify a maximum fall impact force of 900 pounds and the free fall distance of 6 feet. This shock absorber activates at 450 pounds. Safer lanyard has a forged steel d-ring as an intermediate connection point and flexible tails of 9,000 pounds. Type 18 webbing. The standard version comes with two sewn-in locking steel snaps. Designed for climbers up to 300 pounds.
