Tip-39^ 0.5Mg tuberoinfundibular peptide, tip-39, originally isolated from bovine hypothalamus was found to be a potent and selective agonist of the pth2 receptor which regulates pituitary hormone secretion and spinal cord regions involved in pain perception.
