Using a Tirrill Burner instead of a regular burner provides an extra level of control. The user can adjust both air and gas supply, allowing for separate control over flame height and temperature. The gas control is easily managed with the thumb knob located at the bottom of the burner, while the air supply is controlled by adjusting the air ports.
