The VWR Signature Vacuum Oven Station has a programmable Watlow temperature controller that offers multiple ramp and soak capabilities, including storing and running up to 40 temperature profiles. The controls are easily adjustable, and the control panel is user-friendly. The oven chamber is wrapped in high-temperature insulation, which aids overall performance and promotes energy efficiency. Powder-coat construction, true vacuum valves, and cross-flow ventilation through the oven chamber enhance total performance. The vacuum oven is secured to a ruggedly constructed mobile stand that can store a vacuum pump, saving lab space. Although the oven is not supplied with a vacuum pump, all vacuum plumbing and KF25 connections are provided. Heat-up time is 1.5 hours at 150°C. The oven features a nitrogen purge port, a 38 mm (1.5") access port, and an auxiliary vacuum port. A digital vacuum gauge shows the chamber vacuum level in measurements of Torr and m/Torr. The display range is 760 Torr down to 0 mm Torr. A secondary independent high-limit controller provides overtemperature safety protection. This oven has a large 264 L (9.3 cu. ft.) capacity, an LED digital control, and comes with a VWR Two-Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty. It is supplied with three aluminum shelves. The White Glove Installation and Verification Service includes unpacking, inspection, removal/disposal of packing materials, transporting the order via elevator, and setting up the merchandise in the room of your choice. This service also includes installation of casters or leveling feet, power and electrical connections inspected, supply voltage verified, and functional and performance verification documented. Our engineers will move the unit from the customer's receiving dock to the lab within the same building.
